License Plates of Quebec

Making a high-definition license plate for Quebec is a bit more involved to install, but it's worth the effort if you already have a modified vehshare.ytd and want to keep your existing textures.

Installation Steps

1. Open OpenIV and navigate to x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf
2. Find vehshare.ytd and double-click it. This will open a window showing all the textures.
3. Locate "plate05" in the list, select it, and click the "replace" button in the top right corner. Select the included plate05.dds file and click "open".
4. Repeat step 3 for "plate05_n", but this time use the provided plate05_n.dds file.
5. After replacing both textures, click the "save" button before exiting the window. Failure to do so will result in the textures not being replaced, requiring you to start from step 2 again.

Remember to create a backup of your vehshare.ytd file before replacing the textures. Also, avoid using modded files when playing online.
