Emergency Vehicle Lighting: HID and LED Solutions for Ambulances

This mod provides HID and LED lighting options for the vanilla ambulance in GTA V.

Textures

The mod includes a texture file named "ambulance_lights_new". This texture features:

• New headlights with HID functionality
• Additional lights
• Brake and rear LED lights
• LED turn signals
• An LED lightbar

Multiple Combinations

The mod offers several lighting combinations:

• All red and white
• Red and white rear lightbar with orange turn signals
• Red, white, and orange rear lightbar with orange turn signals
• Red, white, and orange rear lightbar with red turn signals

Bonus

The mod also includes a bonus texture:

• Red, orange, and white lightbar with orange turn signals. It also features multiple headlight options (Normal, HID, LED HID) in PNG format.

A PSD file is included in the zip archive for further customization. Users can adjust colors and brightness according to their preferences.

Installation

1. Unzip the mod files using 7zip.
2. Open OpenIV and enable Edit mode.
3. Navigate to "GTA V\mods\x64e\levels\gta5\vehicle.rpf"
4. OR
5. [ GTA V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\rde\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\rdevehicles.rpf]
6. Open Ambulance.ytd.
7. Replace "ambulance_lights_new" with the provided PNG file or delete the existing file and import a new one. During import, choose either "auto" or manually set it to DXT 5 - 1 - ARGB based on your preference.
