Founded in Valencia in 1996, Aeronova was purchased by Globalia (owner of Iberia and Air Europa among others) in 2015 and renamed to Air Europa Express. It's the low-cost subsidiary of Air Europa, designed to compete with other low-cost and regional airlines in Spain.
