Corrosion Eliminator Mod

This mod is a modification of the original game files to remove rust from various vehicles. It primarily targets beater and offroad vehicles, but also removes rust from trains and some large trucks as an unintended side effect.

Since some beater cars already have non-rusted variants (Tornado, Rebel, Emperor, etc.), this mod may seem redundant. However, it allows players to have pristine versions of vehicles like the Rebel baja racer.

• Do not use these mods online. The creator is not responsible for any account bans resulting from using modified files in GTA Online.
• Before installing, back up your game files. The creator is not responsible for any issues arising from the mod's installation.

Installation:

1. Open OpenIV and open x64e.rpf in Edit mode.
2. Browse to levels -> gta5 and extract vehicles.rpf to a location within the GTA 5 main folder.
3. Delete vehicles.rpf from x64e.rpf and rebuild the archive.
4. Open the extracted vehicles.rpf archive.
5. Drag all included .ytd files into the archive, replacing existing files.
6. Do not rebuild vehicles.rpf; instead, open x64e.rpf and browse back to levels -> gta5.
7. Drag the modified vehicles.rpf back into the gta5 folder within x64e.rpf.
8. Close OpenIV without rebuilding x64e.rpf.

The installation is complete; simply start playing the game.
