Classic North Yankton State Police Skins

Hey, I'm starting to mod GTA V! Inspired by my work with the VanillaWorks Discord 2D artists team, I decided to create some 1992-themed mods. Expect a few more V mods from me, but don't worry, I won't abandon the IV modding scene.

Want to take North Yankton back to the 90s? Now you can enforce the law with a retro touch! This mod includes retextures for 11john11's Merit Classic and 1991 Premier, designed after the North Yankton State Patrol (which is based on the North Dakota State Patrol). For the Merit Classic, you'll have a choice between 'modern' and 'retro' livery styles, all with numbers on the trunk.

I hope you enjoy these skins as much as I enjoyed creating them. My options for V modding are somewhat limited. While I could be doing British-themed cars, I decided to set my game's cars in a 1992 setting. Plus, the VanillaWorks team is already doing a lot of the heavy lifting! Any suggestions for lore-friendly early-90s cars would be appreciated.

You'll need to download these models:

• declasse-merit-classic-lspd
• 1991-declasse-premier-lspd-add-onreplace

Follow basic retexture installation instructions.

Note: These skins won't spawn in North Yankton unless you configure mods to add traffic to the map. Even then, you'll need to reassign police cars yourself. I can't help you with that.

This pack will eventually expand to include more retro-style lore-friendly vehicles. For now, consider this the start of my GTA V modding journey.
