British Airtours Boeing 737-200 in Negus Color Scheme 1.0
LiveryDescription
British Airtours Boeing 737-200 in Negus Color Scheme
This is another livery for Bushiido444's 737-200 mod, and it features a British Airtours livery in the original Negus & Negus Design. A Landor Associates livery will be available soon.
British Airtours was BA's charter airline from 1974 to 1988. Besides other aircraft types (such as the Boeing 707 and Lockheed L-1011 TriStar), British Airtours widely used the 737-200. Tragically, this particular aircraft was destroyed on August 22, 1985, when an engine exploded on the runway at Manchester Airport, resulting in the loss of 55 lives.
British Airtours later rebranded as Caledonian Airways in 1988 and eventually merged with Flying Colours in 2000 to form JMC Air, which was subsequently renamed Thomas Cook Airlines.
In memory of the 55 people who lost their lives during the crash of British Airtours Flight 28M.
The original FSX livery was created by Alex FABER.
You need to download Bushiido444's 737-200 mod before installing this livery, as this is only the ytd file that needs to be replaced with the original one:
