B-29 Aircraft Markings: Royal Air Force, Soviet TU-4, and Chinese Versions
This guide explains how to apply alternative paint schemes to the B-29 bomber in a World War II aircraft mod for Grand Theft Auto V. After installing the WWII aircraft pack according to its instructions, open the dlc.rpf file using OpenIV. Navigate to the following file path: ...\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\ww2pack\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\ww2vehicles.rpf\b29.ytd To preserve the original livery, extract the b29.ytd file using OpenIV and rename it (e.g., origb29.ytd) in the same folder as the dlc.rpf. When ready to apply a new livery from the provided zip file, enable "Edit mode" in OpenIV and drag the desired .ytd file to the following location: ...\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\ww2pack\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\ww2vehicles.rpf\b29.ytd Confirm the livery by opening the b29.yft or b29_hi.yft file in OpenIV's Model Viewer. Once satisfied, close the viewer and launch GTAV. Spawn the B-29 using your preferred trainer. A sample work file is included for those who wish to create their own custom paint schemes.First Upload: November 11, 2024 Last Updated: November 11, 2024
