Description

ANA's Boeing 737-200

This livery depicts All Nippon Airways "Mohican Blue" scheme for bushiido444's 737-200 model. Introduced in May 1969, the Boeing 737-200(281) was the first aircraft in ANA's fleet to feature this design. It was retired in March of 1989, but briefly returned in 2009 on a 767-300 (JA602A) for a short period to celebrate the 40-year anniversary of the livery. This revival was the brainchild of a nostalgic employee who fondly remembered the old design. The name "Mohican Blue" originates from the blue stripe that extends from above the cockpit along the entire length of the aircraft. When viewed from the nose, it resembles a blue Mohican (Mohawk) hairstyle.
