Optimizing Graphics with Reshade and ENB

These settings utilize both EMB and reshademe. You'll need both installed in your game for proper functionality. Depending on your monitor settings, you may want to adjust the "BlackPoint" value within the [Levels.fx] section of the Final settings.ini file. Similarly, experiment with the contrast setting ([DPX.fx]) to achieve your desired visual effect. Left SHIFT and DEL will activate the reshademe menu.

The provided Final settings.ini file has a contrast setting of .580 under [DPX.fx]. I personally prefer .585 for added depth, but it may vary depending on your monitor. Adjust the slider accordingly: slide left to lower contrast (below .520 appears too dark), and slide right for higher contrast.

The BlackPoint setting ([Levels.fx]) controls brightness. Slide left to lighten a too-dark image and right to darken it.

These settings are designed to minimize FPS impact. EMB settings have minimal tweaks, while reshademe utilizes shaders sparingly for optimal performance. Expect an average FPS drop of 5 to 7, though this can vary based on your system specifications (graphics card, CPU, etc.).

I've spent over five years refining these settings. I hope they look as good on your monitor as they do on mine. Always remember to back up your files and folders before implementing any changes.

After backing up, simply copy and paste my files and folders into your main GTA V directory. Enjoy!

Compatibility with Evolved is uncertain as my settings have always provided satisfactory results without needing to upgrade from Natural vision remastered.

I've adjusted colors and contrast based on my preferences, but feel free to experiment further for optimal results on your specific monitor.

The ENB setting will enable reflections in puddles, visible on your character model.

If the screen appears overly blue, access the reshademe shader settings (Left SHIFT and DEL) and scroll down to sepia fx. Adjust the "B:" value to 73 or lower to add red tones according to your preference.

The Ronin shooter character is a custom retexture and modification created by me using an Alex189 ped mod. It's currently unavailable for public download.
