Mastering Melee Combat

You just need Open IV and a mods folder. This mod alters the damage dealt by a normal punch. Typically, it inflicts 20-50 damage, but with this mod, it will only deal 1 point of damage. Consequently, killing someone with punches will require approximately 10-20 hits instead of 2.

INSTALLATION

Using Open IV, navigate to: Grand Theft Auto V> mods > update > update.rpf > common > data > action, and replace damages.meta Avoid using this mod if you have modified pedhealth.meta unless you desire it to take hundreds of hits to kill someone.

RECOMMENDED MODS

IV styled knockdowns Harder Fights (only use the pedbrawl style, do not use pedhealth.meta)
