Description
Extreme Violence & Bloodshed Mod
Brutality+ intensifies the blood effects in GTA5, creating a more brutal and realistic experience. Every blood splatter, pool, and gunshot wound has been meticulously redesigned by me for enhanced visual detail and higher resolution (2k). The mod also increases the durability of pedestrians, causing them to sustain injuries instead of dying from a single shot or minor car accident. There should be no noticeable impact on performance. Installation 1. **Move fxdecal.ytd to mods\update\update.rpf\x64\textures**. This replaces the textures for blood splatters and pools. 2. **Move peddamagedecals.ytd to mods\x64a.rpf\textures.** This introduces improved gunshot and splatter textures, along with those necessary for specialized headshot wounds. 3. **Move peddamage.xml to mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\effects\peds**. This modifies blood colors and adjusts the size of splatters, soakage, and gunshots. Additional edits are provided to further amplify the brutality and realism of the game, but they may conflict with other configuration mods. 4. **Move decals.dat to mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\effects**. This alters the size of blood pools and enhances blood splattering. 5. **Move bloodfx.dat to mods\common.rpf\data\effects**. This modifies how gore effects are rendered. 6. **Move pedhealth.meta to mods\common.rpf\data**. This increases pedestrian health, enabling them to withstand more shots, limp away from attacks, and survive slow to medium-speed car crashes. 7. **Navigate to \x64c.rpf\anim\ingame\[email protected] and delete the file "combat@death@from_writhe".** This ensures injured pedestrians remain on the ground until they are executed. You are prohibited from using the textures for any purpose. I am currently experimenting with head wounds inspired by Red Dead Redemption 2. While functional, these are subject to glitches as I work towards refining their appearance. Expect future updates to this mod, further enhancing its brutality and realism.
