Enhanced Graphics for Fallout 4: Natural Lighting and Realism Mods

Nathan Ferdinand's Reworked Graphics (NFRG) is a collection of customized ENB and ReShade presets designed to enhance the visuals of Fallout 4.

Changelog

Update v1.3

  • Introduction of two new ReShade presets:
    1. Cinestyle Alternative - a cinematic preset now graded with LUTs.
    2. Warm Tones - similar to Photorealistic but with a warm tone, ideal for sunrise/sunset scenes.
  • Removal of unnecessary shaders for improved performance across all presets.
  • Replacement of the ColorMatrix shader with PD80's color temps shader for the Photorealistic and Vivid Colors presets.
  • Adjustments to QuantV ENB, resulting in less brightness during night scenes.
  • Setting adaptive sharpness levels to be consistent across all presets.

Update v1.2 hotfix

  • Adjustments to NVE ENB for more neutral colors and brighter nights.
  • The previous NVE ENB configuration is now designated solely for use with the vanilla game.

Note: NVE ENB is now optional. Do not use it if you have NVE update 01/31/23 or newer, as this may cause your game to crash. Refer to the readme file for detailed instructions.

Use the NVE ENB only with updates prior to 12/15/22.

Update v1.1

  • Adjustments to the "Vivid Colors" preset, featuring more comfortable colors and reduced brightness.
  • Refinement of glass reflections.
  • Increase in default sharpness for all presets.
  • Cinema borders in the "Cinestyle" preset can now be toggled on/off using a hotkey.

Quick Installation Guide

  • Download and install ENB from enbdev.com (latest version recommended) - vanilla users only.
  • Download and install NaturalVision Evolved (highly recommended).
  • Download and install ReShade from https://reshade.me/ (latest version recommended).
  • Copy the files to your Fallout 4 directory.

Tips

  • Set the brightness to 60 percent and PostFX to Ultra for optimal results.
  • Adjust sharpness: Open the Reshade menu, enable FXAA if you find the image too sharp, or increase the AdaptiveSharpen value to your preference if it appears blurry.

Please refer to the readme file for comprehensive information.
