Boosting Traffic Volume
Hello everyone! I recently started modding GTA singleplayer and noticed a lack of variety in traffic. This mod aims to introduce much more diversity in the cars you encounter while driving around. You'll find a wide range of vehicles spawning in different locations. Most supercars and sports cars appear in the wealthier parts of the city. Middle-class cars are predominantly found in the middle class areas, older cars spawn in the poorer districts, and off-road vehicles are more common in the countryside. **Requirements:** * Open IV * Scripthook V * Simple trainer * GTA V (can be installed through Steam or Epic Games) **Important Notes:** * I have many plans for future updates to this mod! * A forthcoming update will convert it into an OIV package, allowing for even more content additions. * This mod is not compatible with consoles. **Installation Instructions:** 1. After installing Open IV, create a "mods" folder. 2. Drag the "updates" folder into the newly created "mods" folder. 3. Navigate to `mods>updates>updates.rpf>x64>levels>gta5`. Replace the existing `popgroups.ymt` file with the new one you downloaded. Ensure OpenIV is in "edit mode" (look for a button upon launching OpenIV). 4. Download Scripthook V and Simple trainer. Paste the required files into the main directory of your GTA 5 installation. Refer to YouTube tutorials for detailed instructions on installing these tools. **Known Bugs:** * Vehicles may disappear when approached closely. This issue is typically resolved by installing the Simple trainer. **Customization:** * You can fully customize this mod. To remove a car, double-click `popgroups.ymt` and delete its name. To replace a car, change the name of the existing vehicle to the desired new one. **Removing the Mod:** * Ensure you have backed up your original `popgroups.ymt` file. * Follow the same installation steps but replace the `popgroups.ymt` file with the original backup. **Changelog:** * v1: Beta version (added cars) * v2: Replaced all street cop cars and added new vehicles. * v3: Added more DLC cars. * v4: Introduced a wide variety of emergency vehicles to the streets. * v5: Reduced the spawn rate of cop cars, added numerous trucks, mules, off-road vehicles, and more DLC cars to the streets. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. I'll do my best to respond promptly!First Upload: November 15, 2024 Last Updated: November 15, 2024
