Adjustments to Combat Actions
Have you observed that police AI seems more intelligent than typical AI?
For instance, they can pursue you even when you seek cover. This can be challenging, especially if your health is low.
Another interesting feature is that they drag injured allies to safety, adding a touch of realism during firefights. Unfortunately, this currently only works for police NPCs.
This mod expands these capabilities to almost all NPC types, including gangs and even ambient characters!
It's ideal for players looking to enhance their gameplay experience. Importantly, it functions natively (through modifying game files).
No scripts are required!
INSTALLATION:
Place "combatbehaviour.meta" in "mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/ai"
Then place "combattasks.ymt" in "mods/update/update.rpf/x64/data/tune"
The readme file included with the mod provides more detailed instructions if you want to integrate these features with your existing mods.
Installation is straightforward and shouldn't pose any difficulties.
That's essentially all I have to share. Perhaps I'll update this mod when I discover more unique combat behavior flags to incorporate.
