Submerged Dwelling
This is my initial attempt at creating an underwater dwelling, potentially the first of its kind in GTA V. It serves as a preliminary test to explore the feasibility and visualize the outcome. The design looks promising.
Initially, I had envisioned an apartment, but the possibilities are endless. I've prepared three separate files: one containing only the interior, another with an empty structure, and a complete file encompassing both.
In the future, I might develop this concept further. I am open to sharing the structure as open-source, encouraging others to modify and contribute their own creations while acknowledging the original source.
Instructions
- - Before launching the game, activate OpenIV and switch to edit mode. Navigate to common.rpf/data/level/gta5
- - Create a backup of water.xml as a precaution against unforeseen issues.
- - Replace the existing water.xml file with the one included in the archive.
- - Start the game and load the alebal_underwater_house file using the editor.
- - You will need Map Editor by Guadmaz. (Please note that specific instructions for obtaining Map Editor have been omitted)
- - Press F7, select "load," then choose "xml" and finally load "alebal_underwater_house."
