Senora Desert Safehouse - YMAP & XML

This map is part of a larger project by The Velociraptor, created using Map Editor and the YMAP Converter by Sollaholla. It's intended for storytellers and offline play only.

Required

  • OpenIV
  • custom_maps DLC or Map Editor

Installation Methods

1. Using the custom_maps DLC (Recommended)

Add SAFEHOUSE8D1.YMAP (and lights from the "with lights" folder if desired) to \update\x64\dlcpacks\custom_maps\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\_citye\maps\custom_maps.rpf\ without conversion (using only the "Add" button).

2. Using XML with Map Editor

Use SAFEHOUSE8D1.XML in the Map Editor Mod.

Installation Notes

You can install the Safehouse in Mount Tivian with or without lights. Lights are recommended for nighttime visibility. The no-lights version is suitable for low-end PCs but doesn't significantly impact performance.

File Names

  • SAFEHOUSE8D1.xml (SH, for Map Editor ONLY)
  • SAFEHOUSEL8D1.xml (Lights, for Map Editor ONLY)
  • SAFEHOUSE8D1.ymap (SH, for custom_maps)
  • SAFEHOUSEL8D1.ymap (Lights, for custom_maps)

Uninstallation

Delete the YMAP files from the custom_maps DLC.
