Police Department Second Floor Minimap Design (Custom)

Hello fellow modders. Today I share a simple interior for educational purposes. This MLO demonstrates how to connect two MLOs (vanilla PD and a custom MLO) together for proper functionality.

I've also included a custom minimap. If you're interested in learning how to create one, there's a tutorial on my YouTube channel. (SPOILER: it's complex and annoying)

You are free to use, modify, and improve any of the provided files. Reselling the work is strictly prohibited, as is claiming it as your own.

What's Included?

One MLO interior connected to the vanilla police department, along with a custom minimap for it.

What if I already have a modified police department?

My mod functions as a separate MLO, making it easy to integrate into any modified PD. To ensure the second floor works correctly, increase the portal count value by "1" in rooms ''PH_EXTSTRS_ROOM002'' (room ''8'' in CodeWalker) and ''limbo'' (room ''0'' in CodeWalker) within your "hei_dlc_heist_police.ytyp" file. Additionally, remove the door collision to the second floor entrance in the ''hei_heist_police_dlc.ybn'' file. You can accomplish these simple steps using CodeWalker.

Compatibility

-FiveM: Drag and drop the FiveM folder from the .zip into your resources.

-RageMP: Drag and drop the RageMP folder from the .zip into your server's folder.

-Alt:V: Use the same files as on FiveM. I'm unsure about streaming them to this platform.

-Singleplayer: Drag and drop the dlc.rpf from the singleplayer folder into your mods folder.

A complete installation guide for each platform is included in the README.txt file within the zip.
