Hidden Lair of Merryweather

The Merryweather Cave Base is situated on the east coast of San Andreas, concealed within a cave near the Palmer-Taylor Power Station. This self-sufficient base operates using oil from a nearby pump jack. Access is granted via boat or helicopter/hydra. Inside, you'll discover:

• a surveillance and Research/Computer Room
• a mission briefing zone
• storage facilities
• a vehicle repair area
• a vehicle refueling station
• an aircraft carrier
• various other locations and clutter.

The base is functional both day and night, with included lights enhancing its appearance at night. For optimal experience, set the weather to ExtraSunny to prevent excessive wave heights in certain areas.

Map Properties:

• 968 Props
• 73 NPCs, each with unique tasks (they will assist in defending against intruders, such as police officers).
• 16 vehicles

Installation:

1. Install the Map Editor by Guadmaz (installation instructions are available on the mod page).
2. Transfer the provided .xml file from the .rar archive into your GTA root directory.
3. Press F7 while in-game and select "load map".
4. Enter "merryweathercavebase" and press enter.

Note that some props may not load immediately until you are in close proximity. This is due to the props being originally intended for different locations within the game and not being optimized for this specific map.
