Elevating Runway Style at the Airport

Outside the Michaels hangar is a 1/4 mile drag race track, complete with crowds and food stands.

The track features lights at the start and finish lines, giving it a professionally organized feel. It's also playable at night.

Installation

To install this mod you need Map Editor 1.1 by Guadmaz, or a newer version.

For the drag race functionality, Eddlm’s Impromptu Races mod is required.

Once Map Editor is installed, place the DragRace.xml (and LongTrack.xml since the update) file in your GTA V directory, where your gtav.exe is located.

Open Map Editor with F7 in the game and choose Load Map. Type -DragRace- or -LongTrack- (without hyphens). Be patient as it may take a minute to load.

If the game crashes, install the latest ScriptHookV and ScriptHook.net.

Update 1.5

- Added a longer track (approximately 1/6 mile) activated by typing LongTrack in the Load Map bar. Note that it has around 800 props and may cause FPS drops on low-spec PCs. Rockstar Editor functionality may be affected.

- Numerous improvements, including removing lane separators at the start for easier AI placement. Just go to the line and race!

- Added animations to most pedestrians (some animations may not spawn consistently).

Notes

- The video demonstrates version 1.0. Feel free to create a video showcasing the latest update.

- Users with low-spec PCs or GPUs may experience FPS drops with LongTrack. Attempting to save clips while using LongTrack might result in crashes.
